A lady has called on men to be honest with women about their intentions, particularly when they know they are not interested in pursuing a serious relationship.
In a video circulating on social media, she criticised men who pretend to love women simply because they want to enjoy the benefits of a relationship, warning that such behaviour can leave the other person emotionally hurt.
The lady urged men who do not intend to date a woman seriously to make their intentions clear rather than deceiving her into believing that they are in love.
“If you don’t have any good intention for a girl, tell her. Don’t just lie because you want to chop her, you’re now lying that you love her,” she said.
She argued that a man who knows he cannot date a woman should be upfront with her instead of allowing her to develop genuine feelings.
“If you know you cannot date the girl, you just want to be chopping her, tell her. You guys should stop lying,” she added.
According to her, people should consider the emotional consequences of making someone fall in love with them when they have no intention of staying in the relationship.
“Somebody will now fall in love with you, you guys should now leave the person. Is it proper?” she asked.
She further stressed that heartbreak can be painful, especially when one person genuinely loves the other.
“Don’t you know love hurts? If you love the person, the person will later leave you,” she said.
The lady concluded by warning those who deliberately enter relationships for their own enjoyment without genuine intentions.
“All of you people that are just dating girls for fun, God will punish all of you,” she said.
She also advised people to communicate their feelings and intentions clearly, particularly when they are angry or no longer interested in continuing a relationship.
