Former Ghana Premier League champions, FC Samartex, have announced the signing of defender Prince Affum.Affum signed a three-year deal with the option of a further two years to join The Timbers from Sefwi All Stars.The hardworking centre-back arrives after a successful stint with All Stars, where he captained the Division One side in the last campaign.”We are delighted to announce the signing of Prince Affum, enterprising center back from Sefwi All Stars. The former Captain of Sefwi All Stars who is coming with a wealth of qualities has signed a three years contract with us with an option to renew for two years. Prince the stopper, welcome to the family,” posted Samartex on their official social media pages.Affum is expected to play a pivotal role at Samartex, becoming one of new coach Nana Kwaku Agyemang’s early signings.Meanwhile, Samartex will face Amenfi All Stars on Sunday, August 2, as part of their pre-season preparations.
